Sexual Harassment Prevention

This training program will address basic legal and regulatory rights, responsibilities, and requirements of everyone relating to the prevention of sexual harassment in the workplace. Programs are available that address specific needs of executives, managers, supervisors, and non-supervisory employees. The facilitator(s) will present a practical problem-solving approach to the subject. We will emphasize preventing sexual harassment and workplace harassment, awareness and understanding, and provide education related to the rights and responsibilities of managers, supervisors, and employees. It will provide a realistic approach to anticipating and responding to allegations of harassment (or other forms of employee dissatisfaction).

Beyond sexual harassment and issues of compliance is the importance of establishing and maintaining effective working relationships, especially across lines of difference. HR Anew will provide an innovative and engaging training program that creates a healthy, high-impact learning environment for executives, managers, supervisors, and non-supervisory employees.

Participants will be able to:

  • Establish and recognize the business case for preventing sexual harassment, employment harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and violent behavior in the workplace
  • Define employment harassment and sexual harassment; discover what constitutes tangible (quid pro quo) and intangible (hostile work environment) sexual harassment; recognize and respond to actual, potential, or perceived discriminatory practices or conditions; utilize first responder skills and resources when addressing harassment
  • Determine the different avenues and resources available when addressing harassment in the workplace
